Technical Solutions
1. Uricase Electrodes
Uricase specifically catalyzes the oxidation of uric acid to allantoin and hydrogen peroxide. By immobilizing highly active uricase on the electrode surface, specific recognition of uric acid molecules is achieved. Huili Biotech optimizes the enzyme immobilization process using glutaraldehyde cross-linking and chitosan entrapment techniques to improve enzyme stability and electrode service life.
2. Platinum/Gold Dual-Electrode System
The hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) generated by the uricase reaction requires a high-sensitivity electrode for detection. Platinum electrodes offer excellent catalytic activity for hydrogen peroxide oxidation, with low detection limits and sensitive response, while gold electrodes provide a stable potential reference and good chemical stability. Based on customer requirements, Huili Biotech offers optimized combinations of platinum working electrodes and silver/silver chloride reference electrodes.
3. Anti-Interference Design
Common interfering substances in uric acid testing include ascorbic acid (vitamin C), acetaminophen (paracetamol) and blood oxygen. Through selective membrane design (such as Nafion membranes and cellulose acetate membranes) and electrode surface modification technology, Huili Biotech effectively shields interfering substances and improves the selectivity and accuracy of uric acid testing.
